Land Rover

Petal by petal
He urged her open
And she surrendered to him,
A blade of grass
Bending to the wind.

His finger traced her hips
As sand spills
Down the face of a dune
Sent astray by the cruising of a Land Rover,
Heat rising from the surface
of the parched desert floor.

The sensation of his touch
Blazing a path on her skin
Sent waves of ecstasy
Coursing through her.
Fireworks exploded in her belly.

Her sweat mingled with his spit
As his tongue drew circles
Down from her navel
To that secret soft place
Between her thighs.

There they discovered
Unchartered territory.
New paths of desire and fantasy
Blew her world open
And she opened to him completely.

Fully naked before him
Laid bare, vulnerable
Wounded but whole
Drained but fulfilled.Trembling from exertion and ecstasy
She was the rumbling of the engine
A wet being, born anew
Impressionable and ready to be molded.

The traces left by the tires
In the wet earth
Dried to a deep, cracked track.
